Karachi: Reputed Pakistani actress Mahira Khan expressed her grief over the plight of Karachi.

Mahira Khan shared pictures of different areas of Karachi on Instagram, along with which she wrote in her message that sometimes I am amazed by seeing my city. I get the opportunity to go to places in my work where I would never have been able to go on my own. I got the opportunity to see streets and settlements that I have never seen before.

The actress wrote that we all live in our own little world. Everyone has problems, but I also saw areas in Karachi where people are always in pain, there is no electricity for hours, there is barely anything to eat and dirt accumulates for weeks, the gap between the rich and the poor in this city is very wide.

Mahira Khan wrote that despite all these problems, there is still a glimmer of hope and love in Karachi life. I saw children laughing and playing here, mothers making fresh parathas for their sons, sons who were going out to earn a living.

Mahira Khan wrote that I also saw a street in Karachi where a temple, a church and a mosque were sharing the same wall. I saw the smiles on people’s faces that were sad but also hopeful.

Mahira Khan finally expressed her love for her city and wrote that I love you in Karachi. It’s a pity that we couldn’t take care of you the way you take care of us.
