A blast has taken place near a police mobile in the limits of Mari police station in Peshawar.
According to Express News, a police mobile was targeted by an IED blast near Qamar Din Chowk in the limits of Bhana Mari police station in Peshawar.
According to CCPO Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed, the police mobile was on a routine patrol when a sudden explosion occurred, injuring 4 police personnel.
The injured personnel have been immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. Police and security forces have cordoned off the area and started collecting evidence, while panic and fear spread in the area after the explosion.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, a heavy contingent of police surrounded the area, while the injured personnel were immediately shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
