Confirms telephone contact with sons, says newspapers access restored in jail

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on Saturday confirmed that he recently spoke to his sons – Kasim and Suleman – saying they will be visiting him in Pakistan but will not be involved in politics or any protest movement.

Speaking to reporters from Adiala Jail, the former prime minister said, “I had a one-and-a-half-hour telephone conversation with my sons. They will come to Pakistan to meet me, but they won’t take part in any political activity or movement.”

Imran Khan confirmed that he was facilitated in establishing contact with his sons.

“The contact has been made after a long time. It was good to speak to them,” he added.

The PTI founder also noted an improvement in his prison conditions, stating, “My newspapers have also been restored now.”
