Water level rises at Kotri Barrage, recedes at Sukkur, Guddu

The water level in the Indus River continues to rise, with Kotri Barrage witnessing a medium-level flood, while Sukkur and Guddu barrages are recording low-level floods.

According to the control room, water inflow at Kotri Barrage was recorded at 305,175 cusecs on Saturday evening, with an outflow of 327,620 cusecs. A total of 21,950 cusecs of water was released into the four canals from the barrage. Over the past 24 hours, inflow at the upstream increased by 24,033 cusecs, while outflow at the downstream rose by 20,733 cusecs.

Meanwhile, Sukkur Barrage registered a decline, with inflow decreasing by 83,570 cusecs and outflow dropping by 84,600 cusecs. At Guddu Barrage, inflow on Saturday evening was recorded at 283,399 cusecs and outflow at 254,681 cusecs. Over the past 24 hours, inflow dropped by 92,901 cusecs and outflow by 93,288 cusecs.
