ISLAMABAD: Poland has vowed to invest in Pakistan’s oil and gas sector and strengthen economic ties.

The efforts of SIFC are paving the way for foreign investment in Pakistan. An important meeting was held between Polish Ambassador Messaj Pisarski and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb to strengthen trade relations between Poland and Pakistan.

According to Polish Ambassador Messaj Pisarski, an increase of more than $100 million in investment in the oil and gas sector in Poland and Pakistan is expected.

He said that Poland has expressed its desire to partner in new areas to increase economic cooperation in Pakistan.

Messaj Pisarski announced that Poland will send a high-level political delegation to Pakistan to strengthen bilateral relations.

The decision to send a political delegation was made in continuation of the operations to provide relief goods for the flood victims.

With the support of SIFC, economic and trade cooperation in Pakistan-Poland relations is expected to further increase.
