In the biggest clash of the Asia Cup T20 2025, the captains of Pakistan and India did not shake hands with each other.

During the match played in Dubai, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha and Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav avoided shaking hands during the toss, although this is considered a tradition in cricket.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. However, not only during the toss but later when Salman Ali Agha returned after talking to commentator Ravi Shastri, both the captains avoided shaking hands with each other on this occasion.

Cricket fans have expressed different opinions on this incident. Some called it a reflection of the growing cricket rivalry between the two teams, while some said it was just a coincidence.

It may be recalled that in the sixth match of the Asia Cup T20 2025, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first against India.
