Starting Thursday, heavy vehicles will be restricted from using Raiwind Road between 7 am and 11 pm. The ban applies to the stretch between Thokar Niaz Baig and Raiwind, with traffic police diverting heavy vehicles to Sundar Road, Manga Mandi, and Multan Road.

In addition, access from Kahna Kacha to Defence Road will also be closed to heavy vehicles during these hours. The decision comes in response to a rise in accidents on Raiwind Road.

To manage the new traffic flow, additional personnel have been deployed under the supervision of circle officers to ensure smooth operations.
