ISLAMABAD – On the 77th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to the founder of Pakistan, describing him as a visionary leader whose principles continue to light the nation’s path.
The President said Jinnah not only secured a homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent but also gave them the right to live with dignity, freedom, and identity. He stressed that Jinnah’s dream was of a progressive, inclusive, and forward-looking Pakistan where all citizens enjoy equal rights, regardless of religion or ethnicity.
Zardari noted that by embracing these ideals, Pakistan can overcome present-day challenges.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a similar message, called it the nation’s responsibility to carry Jinnah’s guidance forward and instill his vision in future generations.
