Chairman Kissan Ittehad Haseeb Anwar said Jalalpur Pirwala is threatened by two rivers, the floods have caused a lot of destruction, India is releasing more water into rivers, the rice crop, which was on several acres, has been destroyed, farmers have suffered a lot due to the floods, farmers’ livestock has been destroyed, there is a severe shortage of fodder for animals in Kasur and other areas, building a dam requires a lot of money, we should build lakes in our respective provinces, when the water level increases, it should be released into these lakes, the government has several square meters of land, we have to forget all differences and think about the country, the government has limited resources, emergency measures must be taken to deal with floods, climate change has become a challenge for the entire world, we are the most affected, provinces should be formed in the country, this will improve administrative matters, they are just talking about expenses, whoever has to do public service should spend from his own pocket, Bilawal Bhutto’s statement about farmers is a welcome development, everything of the farmers has been destroyed by the flood, the government should provide relief to farmers.

Senator PPP Sarmad Ali said we have to take steps to prevent floods, climate change is happening all over the world, rains in the country have exceeded expectations, India did not inform Pakistan before releasing water, people have suffered a lot due to water coming from India, houses should not be built on river banks, there is a dire need to build small dams in the country, the dams that India built broke, causing devastation, India committed water aggression, India released water into rivers to take revenge, we will provide all possible assistance to flood victims, government should help farmers, farmers have suffered huge losses due to floods, to create new provinces, each provincial assembly needs a two-thirds majority, if eighteen provinces are created, where will the salaries of these ministers come from, Ali Amin is not running his province from Gandapur, South Punjab should be made a province, two-thirds majority in Punjab Assembly required to form South Punjab province: If the Punjab Assembly passes it with a two-thirds majority, there is no problem in it, We will have to think about how to take Pakistan forward, Sindh government is on alert to deal with floods, Sindh government ministers are present in the field, water from three rivers is coming together and entering Sindh, Sindh government is working day and night to alleviate the problems of the people, all provinces must come together to deal with floods, Bilawal Bhutto has said that farmers’ electricity bills should be waived.

MNA Muslim League-N Samar Bilor said floods wreaked havoc in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa too, floods have damaged roads in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, flour is available at government rates in Peshawar, big dams will be built over time, Ali Amin Gandapur has left the Kalabagh Dam’s Shusha, Ali Amin Gandapur is not taking over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, this is why Ali Amin Gandapur is making such statements, floods from India wreaked havoc in the country, we will have to prepare to deal with floods, we gave a historic defeat to India, if provinces are created, where will the money come from, taxes are paid only from big cities, efforts are already underway to make South Punjab a separate province, the flood has made people’s lives very difficult, NDMA has said that rains will be more next year, let go of what has happened and think about the future, steps must be taken to deal with the coming water aggression, along with human lives, animals have also been rescued in Punjab, if farmers’ animals were to be swept away, their livelihood would become very difficult.
